self portrait josh douglas smith

Josh is a suburbanite who grew up near the hills of Valley Forge Park outside of Philadelphia. He is a vivid dreamer and hard worker and - when given the opportunity - tries his best to care for the needs of others. He graduated from Drexel University in 2007 with a BS in film production and has nine years of professional web design experience and three years of professional photography experience. Having lived and worked in Tokyo and LA on several occasions as a producer's assistant, he can remain calm and focused amid change or adversity and has an affinity for adapting to an array of environments. Josh is always looking to meet new people, build new relationships, and work on new projects. Some of his previous clients include Philadelphia Magazine, Mainline Magazine, Bucks Magazine, Buckminster Green, Earthstone Tileworks, Gypsystyle Bags, and Re: Vision Architecture. If you are ever looking for a photographer for your next project or just wish to meet up and talk about life over a cannoli and a cup of hard cider, feel free to contact him anytime. As for personal quirks, Josh's favorite composer is Philip Glass, his favorite food is CoCo Ichibanya Curry, he romanticizes William Penn's Holy Experiment, and he wants to learn archery. His favorite film is The Fall and he loves reading from David, Solomon, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Joel, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Jude.
